Questions about this item

Which Kyocera ECOSYS printer models accept this magenta TK-5242M cartridge?

This cartridge fits the ECOSYS M5226cdn, M5226cdw, P5026cdn, P5026cdw and P5526cdn colour laser printers.

Can I keep using my existing black TK-5240M cartridge while installing this magenta unit?

Yes, each colour slot works independently so the black TK-5240M stays in place while you replace only the magenta cartridge.

How do I confirm the cartridge is recognised and printing correctly after installation?

The printer display will show the new magenta supply level and a test page should produce clean magenta output at the rated 5% coverage.
