What this cartridge is and who it is for

SuppliesMax MICR High Yield Toner Cartridge replaces Lexmark 53B1H00-MICR and works in Lexmark MS-817, MS-818, MX-717 and MX-718 series printers. It prints up to 25000 pages at 5% coverage. Magnetic toner formulation meets banking standards for secure check and barcode output. Designed for offices that require high-volume MICR printing on 110V U.S.-based laser devices.

Installation ease and common issues

Cartridge installs like the original OEM unit and is manufactured to OEM specifications in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities. The critical requirement is that it must be paired with a MICR drum unit; using a standard drum will prevent proper magnetic signal recognition. Packaging may vary but does not affect quality or the 30-day manufacturer warranty.

What to verify on your printer before ordering

Confirm the exact model number matches Lexmark MS-817dn, MS-817n, MS-818dn, MS-818n, MX-717de or MX-718de. Ensure a compatible MICR drum unit is installed or available, as the toner will not function correctly with a non-MICR drum. Verify the printer operates on 110V power, as the cartridge is engineered for U.S.-based voltage specifications.
