What this cartridge does

This SuppliesMax MICR toner cartridge two-pack is built for Lexmark MX-710, MX-711, MX-810, MX-811 and MX-812 series printers. It prints secure checks and barcodes using magnetic toner that meets banking standards. Each cartridge yields roughly 25000 pages at five percent coverage.

The MICR drum requirement

The toner will only work when paired with a dedicated MICR drum unit. Standard drums cannot read the magnetic formulation, so output will fail bank verification. The pack contains toner only; the drum must be sourced separately.

Installing and common issues

Cartridges seat like the original Lexmark 62D0HA0 units in supported 110V printers. The most frequent problem is inserting them without the matching MICR drum, which produces unreadable documents. Firmware on some Lexmark models may show a non-OEM warning that does not stop printing.

Questions about this item

When will the MICR toner cartridge need replacing?

Each cartridge yields approximately 25000 pages at five percent coverage, so replacement depends on your monthly print volume.

What limits continuous high-volume check printing?

The cartridge is rated for 25000 pages at five percent coverage; exceeding that yield reduces magnetic signal quality for bank processing.

How much heat or noise does the toner add during all-day operation?

The toner itself produces no heat or noise; the printer’s fuser and fans determine those levels when running continuously.
