SuppliesMax MICR Toner 2-Pack

This two-pack supplies magnetic toner cartridges built for secure check and barcode printing. It fits Source Technologies ST-9612, ST-9620 and ST-9622 printers and replaces OEM part STI-204513_2PK. Each cartridge is manufactured to OEM specifications in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities. The product is designed for 110V U.S.-based machines.

Installation and common issues

Cartridges install like standard laser toner units and require no special tools. Handle them gently to avoid damaging the magnetic roller or spilling toner powder. Ensure the printer firmware recognises the compatible chip before starting a large print run. Improper seating or debris on contacts can cause streaks or error messages.

3000-page yield at 5% coverage

The rated output is 3000 pages per cartridge at .05 coverage, which is the key figure for planning high-volume cheque production. Lower coverage extends life; heavy graphics or dense text reduce it. Buyers who need higher per-cartridge volume or non-MICR printing should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the MICR toner is printing valid checks after installing it in my ST-9620?

Print a test check and verify the magnetic ink character recognition line reads correctly at the bank or with a MICR gauge; the cartridge yields up to 3000 pages at .05 coverage for consistent output.

What comes in the 2-pack and do I need a separate drum unit for my ST-9612?

The box contains two black MICR toner cartridges; no drum unit is included or required because the drum is integrated into the cartridge for these printers.

Should I choose this 3000-page 2-pack or a single cartridge for my ST-9622?

The 2-pack gives two cartridges each rated for 3000 pages at .05 coverage, lowering cost per page for high-volume check printing on the ST-9622.
