SuppliesMax MICR Toner 2-Pack

This two-pack of black MICR toner cartridges replaces Lexmark 24B6015_2PK-MICR and yields approximately 35000 pages at .05 coverage. Magnetic toner formulation meets bank-compliant standards for secure check and barcode printing. Designed for consistent, high-volume output in supported Lexmark laser printers.

Upgrade from standard toner for check printing

Standard black toner cannot produce the magnetic characters required for automated cheque clearing. Switching to MICR toner becomes necessary when a business prints its own cheques or barcodes that must meet banking specifications. The 35000-page yield supports regular batch printing without frequent cartridge changes.

Verify printer model and drum requirement

Confirm the device is one of the listed Lexmark M5155, M5163, M5163DN, M5170, XM-5163, XM-5170 or XM-5170H models. A compatible MICR drum unit must already be installed or purchased separately; these cartridges will not function with a standard drum. Ensure the printer operates on 110V power as specified for U.S.-based machines.

What must be done during installation to avoid errors?
