Purpose and users

This two-pack supplies magnetic MICR toner for Canon imageCLASS LBP-3300, LBP-3330 and LBP-3360 printers. It is built for businesses and institutions that print secure cheques, bank documents or barcodes requiring magnetic ink character recognition.

Thermals, noise and power

As a toner cartridge it has no moving parts, fan or power draw of its own; heat and noise come only from the host printer during normal operation. The formulation is engineered to fuse at the printer's standard temperature without increasing energy use or acoustic output.

Upgrade path and limits

The cartridges replace Canon 0266B001AA, 0266B002, CRG-108, CRG-508 and CRG-708 MICR originals with a 2500-page yield at 5% coverage. They are not for colour printing, non-MICR workflows or printers outside the listed imageCLASS models.

Questions about this item

How do I install the MICR toner cartridge in my Canon imageCLASS LBP-3300, and what step is often missed?

Open the front cover, remove the old cartridge, rock the new cartridge gently five or six times to distribute the magnetic toner evenly, pull the sealing tape straight out, then insert the cartridge until it clicks. The rocking step is often skipped, causing faint MICR lines on the first few checks.

What maintenance or replacement will the SuppliesMax MICR toner 2-pack need after the 2500-page yield is reached?

Each cartridge prints up to 2500 pages at 5 % coverage. When print density drops or the printer signals low toner, replace the empty cartridge with the second one from the pack. No separate drum or developer unit is required for these Canon imageCLASS models.

What limit appears first during sustained high-volume check printing with this magnetic toner?

The 2500-page yield at 5 % coverage is the first limit. Heavy coverage on MICR lines or barcodes reduces actual page count, so the cartridge will need replacement sooner than the rated yield during continuous check runs.
