SuppliesMax CE255XD MICR 2-pack

This two-pack of SuppliesMax compatible MICR toner cartridges replaces HP CE255XD-MICR and is built for HP LaserJet Enterprise P3010, P3015, P3016, M521 and M525 series printers. Magnetic toner formulation enables secure check and barcode printing that meets banking standards. Each cartridge yields approximately 12500 pages at 5% coverage. Designed for 110 V U.S.-based printers.

Thermals noise and power

As a toner cartridge, this product generates no operational noise and draws no electrical power of its own. Heat output is limited to the printer’s normal fusing process during high-volume print runs. No additional cooling or power considerations are required beyond the host device specifications.

Upgrade path and value

The 12500-page yield suits organisations printing large batches of cheques or magnetic documents, reducing cartridge changes compared with standard-capacity alternatives. Buyers who need colour output, non-MICR monochrome printing, or compatibility with printers outside the listed HP Enterprise and Troy MICR models should select a different cartridge.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SuppliesMax CE255XD MICR cartridge in my HP LaserJet Enterprise P3015, and what step do people often miss?

Open the front cover, pull the old cartridge straight out, remove the orange protective clip and sealing tape from the new unit, rock it gently five times to distribute the magnetic toner, then slide it in until it clicks; the step most often missed is removing the sealing tape completely, which causes blank pages.

What maintenance or replacement will the SuppliesMax MICR 2-pack need after the 12500-page yield is reached?

Each cartridge yields approximately 12500 pages at 5% coverage; once print density fades or the printer signals low toner, replace the empty cartridge with the second unit from the pack — no separate drum or developer unit requires service on these HP Enterprise models.

What limit appears first during sustained high-volume check printing with this MICR toner?

The 12500-page yield at 5% coverage is the first limit; magnetic toner density must stay within ANSI X9 standards for bank acceptance, so heavy coverage jobs will reach the page-count limit before any mechanical wear occurs in compatible HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M525 or P3015 series printers.
