MICR Toner for Canon Fax Machines

This SuppliesMax cartridge replaces Canon 7621A001AA-MICR and FX-7 toner in LaserCLASS 710, 720i and 730i models as well as FAX L2000 and L2000iP units. It prints black MICR toner for bank-compliant cheque and barcode output. The yield is rated at 4500 pages at five percent coverage.

For Secure Cheque Printing

Offices that produce high volumes of negotiable documents on supported Canon fax printers will benefit from the magnetic formulation. Buyers who need colour output, standard non-MICR toner or cartridges for other printer brands should look elsewhere.

Drop-In Installation

The cartridge is built to OEM dimensions for direct fit in 110 V U.S. machines manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 facilities. Packaging may vary without affecting performance. Misalignment in the printer track is the most common issue; reseating the unit normally resolves it.

Questions about this item

Which Canon printers accept this FX-7 MICR toner cartridge?

The cartridge fits Canon FAX L2000, FAX L2000iP, LaserCLASS 710, 720i and 730i models as listed in the compatibility table.

Will the cartridge install and operate in a 110 V U.S. LaserCLASS 720i that already uses standard Canon toner?

Yes, it is engineered for 110 V U.S. printers and replaces the OEM 7621A001AA-MICR without hardware changes.

How can I verify the cartridge is printing valid MICR output after installation?

Print a test check or barcode; the magnetic toner should produce sharp, bank-compliant characters readable by MICR scanners.
