Compatible MICR cartridge for Canon printers

This SuppliesMax cartridge replaces the Canon 3500B001AA MICR toner and works with a wide range of imageCLASS, i-SENSYS, FAXPHONE and Satera models. It is built for businesses that print cheques, barcodes or other documents requiring magnetic ink character recognition. The unit is new and rated for 2100 pages at 5% coverage.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

As a toner cartridge it has no moving parts, fans or power draw of its own; heat and noise come only from the host printer during operation. The magnetic toner formulation is engineered to fuse at the standard temperatures used by the supported Canon devices. No additional cooling or electrical capacity is required beyond the printer's normal specifications.

Behaviour under sustained high-volume printing

The 2100-page yield is measured at continuous 5% coverage, so long print runs stay consistent without density drop-off. Magnetic particle distribution remains stable across the full cartridge life, keeping cheque-read accuracy within banking standards. The cartridge is warranted for 30 days against defects in materials or workmanship.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SuppliesMax MICR Toner Cartridge TYPE 128 and what step do people often miss?

Open the printer front cover, remove the old cartridge, gently rock the new cartridge five or six times to distribute the magnetic toner evenly, then slide it firmly into the guides until it clicks; the rocking step is the one most users skip and it prevents streaky MICR lines.

What maintenance or replacement will this cartridge need later?

The cartridge is a single-use unit; after approximately 2100 pages at 5% coverage the toner is exhausted and the whole cartridge must be replaced, there are no separate drums or waste bins to service.

What limit appears first during sustained check printing with this cartridge?

The 2100-page yield at 5% coverage is the limiting factor; heavy check runs that exceed that coverage will deplete the magnetic toner sooner and require a fresh cartridge.
