SuppliesMax Okidata 42377801 ribbon 6 pack

This six-pack of black ink ribbons is built as a direct replacement for Okidata part 42377801 and fits a wide range of MICROLINE and ML dot-matrix printers. Offices that run continuous forms, multi-part invoices or receipts will find the quantity convenient for batch loading and reduced reorder frequency.

Build quality and daily handling

Each ribbon is manufactured to match OEM specifications using premium materials that hold ink consistently across long print runs. The cartridge drops into the printer without tools, so changeovers take seconds and do not interrupt high-volume workflows. Excellent ink retention means fewer smudges on multi-part paper and reliable character density from the first page to the last.

Upgrade path and when it matters

The pack replaces OEM ribbons such as 42377801, 52117001 and equivalent aftermarket part numbers including 1930, 11020, 11568, 11582 and 11982. Buyers moving from single-unit purchases gain lower per-ribbon cost and less downtime waiting for deliveries. Shops that do not use Okidata MICROLINE or ML series printers listed in the compatibility data will need a different ribbon.

The ribbon fits Okidata MICROLINE 420, 420n, 421, 421n, 490, 490n, 491, 491n, 720, 721, 790 and 791 models, plus the equivalent ML-series printers.

How does the ribbon mount in the printer?

The cartridge drops into the standard Okidata ribbon bay; align the two side tabs with the guide slots and press until it clicks into place.

What is the correct way to install the ribbon so it feeds properly?

Remove the protective seal, insert the cartridge, then turn the tension knob clockwise until the ribbon is taut — skipping this step causes smudging or jams.
