Who This Suits

Offices, retailers and accounting teams that run any of the listed Olympia models — from the EC-3000 through EC-8000 series, CA-22, CPD-6201, CPD-6210, CPD-7220 and Orbit CM — will find a direct drop-in replacement. Buyers who need colour output beyond black and red, or who operate non-Olympia machines not shown in the compatibility list, should look at something else.

Questions about this item

Does the ribbon generate extra heat or noise when the EC-6000 runs continuously all day?

The ribbon is a passive ink ribbon with no moving parts, so it adds no heat or noise; all mechanical sound and warmth come from the calculator itself.

Which specific calculator model must I already own for the 72873BR six-pack to fit?

The pack fits any of the listed Olympia models such as the EC-3000, EC-4000, EC-6000, EC-7000, EC-8000, CPD-6201, CPD-6210, CPD-7220, CA-120, CA-22, PD-10 or PD-12.

Will the black/red ribbon work correctly in an older Olympia CA-22 that I still use?

Yes, the CA-22 is explicitly listed as compatible, so the ribbon will produce both black and red characters on that machine.
