Compatible Canon PIXMA printers

This remanufactured combo pack contains two black and two colour cartridges built to fit a long list of Canon PIXMA models including the IP, MG, MX, TR and TS series. Each cartridge is filled to a high-yield specification and rated for approximately 300 pages at 5% coverage. The set is intended for home or small-office users who print regularly and want a lower-cost alternative to original Canon supplies.

Print quality and reliability

Premium ink formulation is designed to produce vibrant colour output and sharp black text on everyday documents and photos. Cartridges are engineered to meet original OEM specifications for reliable installation and consistent performance in supported 110 V printers. No special maintenance or calibration steps are required beyond the normal printer routine.

Upgrading from standard-yield cartridges

The high-yield capacity replaces standard PG-245 and CL-246 cartridges, reducing the frequency of swaps for users who print several hundred pages a month. Buyers who need pigment-based archival ink, wider format support or integrated print-head service modules will not be served by this inkjet combo pack.

Questions about this item

How do I install the PG-245XL black and CL-246XL colour cartridges in my Canon PIXMA printer, and what step do people often miss?

Remove the orange protective tape from each cartridge before inserting it into the correct colour-coded slot; the tape covers the vent hole and must come off or the printer will not recognise the ink.

What maintenance or replacement will this combo pack need after the ink runs out?

Each cartridge yields about 300 pages at 5% coverage; once empty you simply replace the individual PG-245XL or CL-246XL unit — no separate drum or maintenance kit is required for these printers.

What limit appears first during sustained printing with these high-yield cartridges?

The 300-page yield at 5% coverage is the first limit; heavy graphics or photo printing will reach that threshold sooner than plain text documents.
