SuppliesMax PY449-MICR High Yield Toner Cartridge

The SuppliesMax PY449-MICR is a new, aftermarket magnetic toner cartridge built for high-volume check and barcode printing. It replaces the Dell PY449-MICR and equivalent OEM part numbers for Dell 1720 series laser printers. The cartridge yields approximately 6000 pages at 5% coverage and is manufactured to OEM specifications for bank-compliant MICR output.

Check your printer model and voltage before ordering

Verify that your device is a Dell 1720, 1720n or 1720DN laser printer and that it operates on 110V U.S. power. Confirm the existing cartridge part number matches one of the listed OEM equivalents such as Dell PY449-MICR, RP441-MICR or 310-8708-MICR. This cartridge is not for printers outside the compatible list or for non-MICR printing requirements.

Fits directly into supported Dell 1720 series

The cartridge installs in the standard toner slot of the Dell 1720, 1720n and 1720DN without modification. Magnetic toner formulation enables secure check and barcode printing that meets banking standards. High yield capacity reduces replacement frequency for consistent, high-volume output. Buyers needing colour output or non-MICR monochrome printing should select a different cartridge type.

Questions about this item

Does the cartridge ship alone or with extra parts such as a drum unit?

The pack contains one black MICR toner cartridge only; no drum, developer or waste container is included.

Is there a standard-yield alternative or only this 6000-page high-yield version?

Only the high-yield 6000-page model PY449-MICR is offered; no lower-capacity option is listed.

Will I actually get 6000 pages printing cheques on my Dell 1720DN?

The 6000-page figure is measured at 5 % coverage; dense cheque layouts or graphics will reduce the real-world yield.
