Compatible waste toner container

The SuppliesMAX RIC418425 is a new aftermarket waste toner container designed for Ricoh IM-C series colour copiers and laser printers. It replaces the OEM Ricoh 418425 unit and fits the IM-C2000, IM-C2500, IM-C3000, IM-C3500, IM-C4500, IM-C5500, IM-C5500A and IM-C6000 models. The container collects excess toner during printing to keep internal components clean.

100000-page yield at 5% coverage

The single specification that determines fit is the rated yield of 100000 pages measured at .05 coverage. This figure matches the original manufacturer rating for the Ricoh 418425 and equivalent Katun KAT51661 and KAT55560 part numbers. Buyers who need a higher-capacity waste container or a different yield rating cannot use this part.

Drop-in replacement for scheduled maintenance

The container installs directly into the printer's waste toner slot without tools or firmware updates. It is built to OEM dimensions in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities and is designed for 110V machines sold in the U.S. Using this compatible part does not void the printer manufacturer's warranty. It frees the operator from ordering the higher-priced OEM container while maintaining the same service interval.

Questions about this item

How many prints can I expect from the 100000-page rating on my Ricoh IM-C3000?

The 100000-page yield is measured at 5% coverage; typical office documents with heavier graphics will reduce the actual number of pages before the container fills.

Does the Ricoh 418425 waste container use a proprietary interface or a standard slot?

It installs into the dedicated waste-toner slot on compatible Ricoh IM-C series devices; no separate interface or cable is required.

Will this container fit in a Ricoh IM-C4500 without modification?

Yes, the container is built to OEM dimensions for the IM-C2000 through IM-C6000 series, including the IM-C4500, and seats directly in the factory waste-toner compartment.
