Compatible Drum Unit for Savin MFPs

This SuppliesMAX black drum unit replaces the Savin D244-2250K_2PK and fits the MP-C2004, MP-C2004EX, MP-C2504, MP-C2504EX and MP-C2504SP series. The two-pack design suits offices that run high-volume print jobs and want a spare on hand. It is built for 110V machines sold in the U.S. and meets ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 factory standards.

Steady Output Over Long Runs

Rated at 60000 pages at .05 coverage, the drum maintains crisp black density across extended print sessions rather than fading after a short burst. Components are manufactured to OEM specifications using new and recycled parts to keep contrast stable during continuous workloads. The 30-day manufacturer warranty backs the sustained performance claim.

Drop-In Installation With Minimal Risk

The unit slides into the Savin printers listed without tools or firmware updates, and the packaging notes that use of compatible supplies does not void the machine warranty. Common issues arise only if the drum is forced into an incompatible model or if the printer voltage differs from 110V. Always verify the exact Savin model number before opening the sealed pack.

Questions about this item

Does the SuppliesMAX SAVD244-2250K drum unit generate extra heat or noise when the Savin MP-C2504 runs continuously all day?

The drum unit is a passive imaging component with no moving parts of its own; it adds no measurable heat or acoustic output beyond what the Savin MP-C2004, MP-C2004EX, MP-C2504, MP-C2504EX or MP-C2504SP already produces during normal 110 V operation.

What other consumables must already be in the Savin MP-C2004EX for this two-pack black drum unit to function?

The printer still requires a separate black toner cartridge (and the colour toner cartridges if colour output is needed) because the SAVD244-2250K supplies only the photoconductor drum, not toner.

Can the SAVD244-2250K drum unit be used in an older Savin model that takes the D244-2209K or D244-2229K drum?

Yes — the unit is listed as compatible with Savin D244-2209K_2PK and D244-2229K_2PK part numbers, so it will install and operate in any supported 110 V machine that accepts those OEM drums.
