Compatible Magenta Drum Unit

The SuppliesMax SAVD244-2250M is a compatible magenta drum unit built to replace the Savin D244-2250M in MP-C2004, MP-C2004EX, MP-C2504, MP-C2504EX and MP-C2504SP devices. It is suited for offices and home users who need colour output on those specific models.

Yield and voltage limits

The unit is rated for up to 48000 pages at .05 coverage, so actual life drops when graphics or solid fills are printed. It is designed for 110V machines sold in the U.S. and should not be used in equipment operating on other voltages.

Installation and common issues

The drum slides into the printer without tools, but the protective seal must be removed fully before insertion or print quality suffers. Using the unit in unsupported Savin models or in 220V hardware causes errors and can damage the imaging system.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the SAVD244-2250M or the SAVD244-2209M for my Savin MP-C2504?

Both part numbers are listed as compatible with the MP-C2504 series, so either will fit and deliver the same 48000-page yield at .05 coverage.

What does the 48000-page yield mean in daily use on an MP-C2004EX?

It is measured at .05 coverage; typical office documents with graphics or colour blocks will reach that limit sooner, while text-only pages may exceed it.

Does the drum unit use a standard interface that caps performance on 110V Savin machines?

It is built to OEM specifications for 110V Savin printers and installs directly without limiting the device's rated speed or quality.
