What this drum-unit pack replaces

The SuppliesMax SAVD244-2250MP combo pack contains four new drum units — black, cyan, magenta and yellow — built to match Savin D244-2250MP specifications. It fits Savin MP-C2004, MP-C2004EX, MP-C2504, MP-C2504EX and MP-C2504SP printers sold for 110 V U.S. operation. Offices and home users who print high volumes on these models get a direct replacement without changing hardware.

Yield difference across colours

Black drum units are rated for 60000 pages at five-percent coverage while each colour drum is rated for 48000 pages at the same coverage. The pack therefore covers a full colour cycle but the colour drums will reach end-of-life sooner than the black unit. Buyers who need equal life across all four colours or who print predominantly in colour will find the stagger limiting.

Installation notes and common issues

Units are designed for tool-free insertion into the supported Savin printers. The most frequent problem is forgetting to remove the protective seal on each drum before seating it, which causes blank or streaked pages. A second issue occurs when a printer firmware update blocks third-party chips; the manufacturer states use will not void the printer warranty but some users still see a non-genuine warning that must be dismissed manually.
