Compatible Replacement Ribbons for Standard

This six-pack of SuppliesMax black/red dot-matrix ribbons is built to match OEM specifications for Standard Register TE-1604, TE-1606, TE-1608 and TE-1610 Lister models. Banks, credit unions and other financial institutions that rely on these printers for receipts and invoices receive a direct drop-in supply. The ribbons are manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities using new and recycled components.

Black/Red Dual-Colour Output for Transaction

Each ribbon delivers both black and red ink on a single cartridge, enabling the printer to highlight totals, voids or endorsements without a media change. Excellent ink retention reduces the frequency of replacements during high-volume daily runs. The formulation is designed for 110V machines sold in the U.S. and is fully compliant with U.S. warranty law, so using these compatibles does not void the printer manufacturer’s warranty.

Printer Model Compatibility Decides Fit

The only specification that determines whether this pack is the correct part is the printer model: it fits Standard Register TE-1604, TE-1606, TE-1608 and TE-1610 Lister series devices and replaces OEM part numbers 88100023BR and 9493BR. Buyers with different dot-matrix models or single-colour ribbon requirements cannot use this product.

Questions about this item

How often will the Standard Register 88100023BR ribbon need replacing in a TE-1608 Lister?

Excellent ink retention minimises replacement frequency, but actual interval depends on daily print volume and document density.

What limits continuous printing on the TE-1610 Lister with this ribbon?

The ribbon’s ink capacity is the first limit; once the black/red ink is depleted, print quality fades and the cartridge must be swapped.

Does the 88100023BR ribbon generate extra heat or noise during all-day use in a TE-1606?

The ribbon itself adds no heat or noise; any sound or warmth comes from the printer mechanism, not the consumable.
