Compatible MICR toner for Source Technologies

This SuppliesMax cartridge replaces the Source Technologies STI-204514 MICR toner and fits the ST-9712, ST-9715, ST-9717, ST-9720 and ST-9722 series. It is built for businesses that print secure cheques and barcodes on 110V laser printers sold in the U.S. The magnetic formulation meets banking standards for readable MICR lines.

Yield rated at five percent coverage

The 5000-page figure assumes the industry-standard .05 coverage test page. Pages heavy with graphics, bold text or full backgrounds consume toner faster and will reduce the actual count. Printers running outside the specified 110V range or in non-supported regions may also see lower output.

Designed for high-volume cheque runs

Offices processing large daily batches of negotiable instruments will find the rated capacity adequate for regular workflow. Environments that exceed the test coverage or require continuous printing beyond the cartridge life will need more frequent replacements. Buyers needing colour output or non-MICR printing should choose a different product.

Is the 5,000-page yield the only capacity option for this STI-204514 MICR cartridge?

Yes, this SuppliesMAX replacement is offered as a single black cartridge rated for 5,000 pages at 5% coverage.

What does the 5,000-page figure mean when I am actually printing checks?
