SuppliesMax T277XL520 Light Cyan Inkjet Cartridge

This remanufactured high-yield cartridge replaces the Epson T277XL520 and fits Expression Photo XP-55, XP-750, XP-760, XP-850, XP-860, XP-950, XP-960 and XP-970 printers. It is built for users who print colour photos, presentations and everyday documents and want a lower-cost alternative to original supplies. The single-pack design suits home offices and small businesses with moderate colour output.

Installation and common issues

The cartridge installs like the original: open the printer cover, remove the old unit and snap the new one into the light cyan slot until it clicks. Most problems come from forgetting to peel the protective tape off the vent or nozzle, which blocks ink flow and triggers a low-ink warning. If the printer does not recognise the chip, reseat the cartridge and restart the printer to clear the error.

Sustained printing behaviour

Rated at 740 pages at five percent coverage, the cartridge maintains consistent colour density across long print runs rather than fading after a few dozen pages. The remanufactured ink formulation resists drying in the nozzles during idle periods, so the printer stays ready between sessions. Heavy photo printing will consume ink faster than the rated coverage, but output quality remains stable until the tank is empty.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the cartridge is printing correctly after installing it in my XP-850?

Print a nozzle-check pattern from the printer maintenance menu; the light cyan grid should show no gaps or streaks across the page.

What comes in the package and do I need to buy anything else for my XP-760?

The box contains one remanufactured light cyan cartridge; no extra parts or ink bottles are required for installation.

Should I choose the 740-page high-yield version or a standard-yield cartridge for my XP-960?

The high-yield T277XL520 delivers 740 pages at 5 % coverage, so it suits heavier photo and document printing better than a standard cartridge.
