The rated yield is 7200 pages when printing at the standard five percent coverage. Manufacturing takes place in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities. The toner is formulated for crisp black output and clear contrast. No thermals, noise or power draw data applies to this consumable product.

Questions about this item

How do I install the TK-1172 cartridge in my ECOSYS M2540dw, and what step do people often miss?

Open the front cover, remove the old cartridge, gently shake the new TK-1172 side-to-side to distribute toner, pull the sealing tape straight out, then insert until it clicks. Many forget to remove the tape completely.

What part will need replacement after the 7200-page yield is reached on this TK-1172?

The entire SuppliesMax TK-1172 black toner cartridge must be replaced once the approximate 7200 pages at 5% coverage are printed. No separate drum or waste container is sold for this model.

What limit appears first during long print runs with this cartridge in an ECOSYS M2040dn?

The 7200-page yield at 5% coverage is the primary limit. Heavy graphics or dense text that exceeds 5% coverage will deplete toner faster, reducing the total page count.
