Questions about this item

Which Gestetner copier models must I already own for this DT42BLK 2-pack to work?

The cartridges fit DSM-615, DSM-616, DSM-618, DSM-620, DSM-715, DSM-716, DSM-721, MP-1600, MP-1600L and MP-2000 series machines.

Will these cartridges function in an older DSM-618D that I plan to keep?

Yes, the DSM-618D is listed among the compatible models, so the toner will operate normally in that device.

How can I confirm the cartridges are printing correctly after installation?

Print a test page; output should show crisp black text at the rated 5% coverage and the page counter should advance toward the 9000-page yield.
