This SuppliesMAX cartridge replaces the IBM 39V1638 toner and fits the InfoPrint 1601, 1602 and 1612 Express printers. It is built from new and recycled components in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities. The unit installs easily in supported 110V machines sold in the U.S. and carries a 30 day manufacturer warranty.

Page Yield at Five Percent Coverage

The cartridge is rated for 3500 pages at .05 coverage, which is the single figure that determines whether it matches your print volume. At heavier coverage the yield will fall proportionally, while lighter documents may extend it. Check your typical page density against this baseline before ordering.

Volume Headroom and Limits

The 3500 page rating suits everyday business and personal printing with crisp black output and clear contrast. It runs out quickly in high-volume departments or graphics-heavy workflows where coverage regularly exceeds five percent. Buyers who need MICR toner or colour output should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How many pages will the 3500-page yield actually deliver in my InfoPrint 1601?

The 3500-page figure is measured at 5% coverage per page. Typical office documents with graphics or dense text use more toner, so you will see fewer pages; lighter text-only pages can extend the count.

Does the cartridge work with the standard voltage in my US office?

Yes, it is designed for 110V printers sold in the U.S. and fits the InfoPrint 1601, 1602 and 1612 series without modification.

Will this cartridge fit into my InfoPrint 1612 Express without forcing it?

It is built to OEM dimensions for the 39V1638 slot, so it installs the same way as the original cartridge in all listed InfoPrint models.
