HP Transfer Belt for Color LaserJet Pro

This SuppliesMAX transfer belt assembly replaces HP part RM2-6454-000CN and fits the Color LaserJet Pro M452, M454, M377, M477 and M479 series printers. It is designed for offices that need to restore print quality after the original intermediate transfer belt reaches its rated life. The unit ships new and carries a 30-day manufacturer warranty.

Yield rated at 140000 pages at five percent coverage

The 140000-page rating applies only at the industry-standard five percent coverage benchmark; higher coverage jobs will reduce actual output proportionally. The belt is a consumable maintenance item, not a toner cartridge, so it does not supply pigment. Compatibility is limited to the specific HP Color LaserJet Pro models listed in the product data.

Installs by opening the front cover

No tools are required; the assembly seats on guide rails and locks with a single latch. Common issues include forgetting to remove the protective shipping clips, which causes alignment errors, and failing to reset the printer's maintenance counter, which leaves a persistent replace-belt warning. Handle the green drum surface carefully to avoid fingerprints that degrade early output.

Questions about this item

Is the 140000-page yield the right choice for my print volume?

The assembly is rated for up to 140000 pages at 5% coverage. Choose it if your monthly output approaches that figure; lower-volume users may replace it less often.

What does the 140000-page rating mean in daily use?

It reflects ISO 5% page coverage. Pages with heavy graphics or full-colour photos will reduce the actual count, while text-only documents may exceed it.

Which printers accept the RM2-6454-000CN transfer belt?

It fits HP Color LaserJet Pro M452DN, M452DW, M452NW, M454DN, M454DW, MFP M377DW, MFP M477FDN, MFP M477FDW, MFP M479FDN, MFP M479FDW and MFP M477FNW-MFP models.
