Secure check printing cartridge

The SuppliesMax Troy 02-81133-001 is a compatible MICR toner cartridge built for businesses that print cheques and barcodes on supported HP LaserJet 2400, 2410, 2420 and 2430 series printers. Magnetic toner formulation meets banking standards for automated clearing. One cartridge is supplied new in the box.

Thermals noise and power in daily use

The cartridge operates inside the printer's standard 110 V environment without additional power draw or cooling requirements. Magnetic toner particles fuse at the same temperature as standard toner, so warm-up time and acoustic profile remain unchanged. No extra fan noise or thermal load is introduced.

Upgrade path and when it matters

This cartridge replaces the original Troy 02-81133-001 and equivalent OEM part numbers such as CTG11AM and MICR-THN-11A. The jump is worth it when a department needs bank-compliant output at a lower per-page cost while keeping the same 6000-page yield at 5 % coverage. Buyers who require colour MICR or higher-capacity cartridges for the same printers cannot use this product.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SuppliesMax Troy 02-81133-001 MICR toner cartridge in my HP LaserJet 2420, and what step is often missed?

Open the front cover, remove the old cartridge, rock the new cartridge gently five to six times to distribute the magnetic toner evenly, pull the sealing tape straight out, then insert the cartridge until it clicks firmly into place.

What maintenance or replacement will the SuppliesMax Troy 02-81133-001 cartridge need after the 6000-page yield is reached?

Replace the cartridge when print density fades or MICR signal strength drops below bank-readability standards; the magnetic toner formulation cannot be refilled reliably, so a new cartridge is required for continued secure check printing.

What limit appears first during sustained high-volume printing with this MICR toner cartridge?

The 6000-page yield at 5 % coverage is the primary limit; exceeding that coverage percentage or printing continuously without cool-down periods can reduce effective yield and degrade magnetic signal quality sooner.
