What It Is

This two-pack of SuppliesMax MICR toner cartridges replaces Troy 02-81135-001_2PK and works in HP LaserJet 4240, 4250 and 4350 series printers as well as Troy MICR 4250 and 4350 secure models. Each black cartridge yields approximately 10000 pages at five percent coverage. The magnetic formulation is built for bank-compliant check and barcode printing.

Thermals Noise Power

The cartridges operate inside supported 110V U.S.-based laser printers without adding measurable heat or noise beyond normal printer operation. Power draw is determined by the host device and is unchanged from OEM cartridges. Installation is a direct swap with no firmware updates or hardware adjustments required.

Upgrade Context

This pack suits offices printing high volumes of secure documents who want OEM-level yield at a lower per-page cost. It is not for users needing colour output, printers outside the listed HP and Troy families, or environments requiring a manufacturer warranty longer than 30 days.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SuppliesMax Troy 02-81135-001_2PK cartridge in my HP LaserJet 4250, and what step is often missed?

Open the printer front cover, remove the old cartridge, gently rock the new cartridge side-to-side five or six times to distribute the magnetic toner evenly, pull the sealing tape straight out, then slide the cartridge in until it clicks. The rocking step is frequently skipped, causing faint MICR lines on the first few checks.

What maintenance or replacement will the SuppliesMax Troy 02-81135-001_2PK need after the initial 10000 pages?

Each cartridge yields approximately 10000 pages at .05 coverage. Once print density drops or the printer signals low toner, replace the empty cartridge with a fresh unit from the 2-pack or a new compatible cartridge; no separate drum or developer unit is required for these HP LaserJet 4240, 4250 and 4350 models.

What limit appears first during sustained high-volume check printing with the SuppliesMax Troy 02-81135-001_2PK?

The 10000-page yield at .05 coverage is the first limit; continuous dense MICR printing (heavy MICR lines, barcodes or dark logos) consumes toner faster, so the cartridge will reach end-of-life before any mechanical wear appears in the supported HP and Troy printers.
