Who this suits and who it doesn't

Financial offices and businesses that need bank-compliant magnetic toner for high-volume cheque runs will find it fits the listed HP LaserJet 5si, 8000 and Troy 524, 624, 8000 models. Buyers with printers not named in the compatibility list or machines requiring a different voltage should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification

The cartridge is a MICR toner formulated to meet banking standards for magnetic ink character recognition. If your workflow does not require MICR output, a standard black toner is the appropriate choice.
