What this cartridge is and who uses it

This SuppliesMAX MICR toner cartridge replaces the Troy 02-81200-001 and works in HP LaserJet M3027, M3035 and P3005 series printers. It is built for businesses that print cheques or barcodes requiring magnetic ink character recognition. The cartridge is new and manufactured to OEM specifications in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities.

The specification that decides fit

Magnetic MICR toner is the single feature that makes this cartridge suitable for bank-compliant cheque printing; standard black toner will not work for that purpose. The yield is rated at 13000 pages at 5 percent coverage, so high-volume offices can plan replacements around that figure. Verify your printer model against the listed HP and Troy series before ordering.

Installation and common issues

The cartridge is engineered for seamless installation in supported 110V U.S.-based printers and fits the same slot as the original Troy unit. The most frequent issue is installing a non-MICR cartridge by mistake, which produces output the bank will reject. Also confirm your printer is on the compatibility list; models outside that list may not recognise the chip or may show a supply error.

Questions about this item

How many pages will the 13000-page yield actually print in my HP LaserJet P3005?

The 13000-page rating is measured at 5% coverage; heavy text or graphics will reduce the count, while light drafts may extend it.

Does this cartridge use the standard HP LaserJet interface for the M3027 and M3035 series?

Yes, it is engineered as a direct replacement for the Troy 02-81200-001 and fits the same cartridge slot in all listed HP and Troy models.

Will the cartridge fit inside a Troy MICR 3005 Secure MFP without modification?

It is manufactured to OEM dimensions for the Troy MICR 3005 and MICR 3035 Secure MFP, so it installs without any physical changes.
