Compatible MICR Toner for Check Printing

This SuppliesMAX cartridge replaces the Troy 02-81201-001 MICR toner and yields up to 6500 pages at five percent coverage. It is engineered for secure check and barcode printing using magnetic toner that meets bank-compliant standards. The cartridge is manufactured to OEM specifications using new and recycled components in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities.

Printer Model Verification Required

Before ordering, confirm your printer appears in the supported list covering HP LaserJet M3027, M3027X, M3035, M3035xs, P3005, P3005D, P3005DN, P3005N and P3005X models. The cartridge also fits Troy MICR 3005, Troy P3005 and Troy MICR 3035 Secure MFP devices. Ensure the machine operates on 110V power as specified for this compatible unit.

Standard Laser Operation Characteristics

In normal use the cartridge performs like a standard monochrome laser toner with no additional cooling or power requirements beyond the printer's own design. Magnetic MICR formulation does not alter acoustic output or energy draw compared to conventional black toner. The 30 day manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under typical office printing loads.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need a drum unit or waste toner bottle?

The box contains one black MICR toner cartridge. The HP and Troy printers listed use a combined toner-and-drum cartridge, so no separate drum or waste bottle is required.

Should I choose the 02-81201-001 or the 02-81201-500 version for my Troy MICR 3005?

Both part numbers are listed as direct replacements for the Troy MICR 3005 and 3035 Secure MFP. The 02-81201-001 is the standard cartridge supplied in this pack.

What does the 6500 page yield at 5% coverage mean for daily check printing?

At the standard 5% coverage used for yield testing, the cartridge prints roughly 6500 pages. Check forms with heavy MICR lines or dense barcodes use more toner, so actual page count will be lower.
