Compatible Unisys 04-8103-873 Ribbon Pack

This six-pack of black dot matrix printer ribbons is built as a direct replacement for the Unisys 04-8103-873 cartridge. It serves businesses running Unisys Convergent CT-2425 or CT-2426 printers that need reliable, high-volume output for receipts and invoices. Each ribbon is manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities using new and recycled components to match OEM specifications.

Dot Matrix Interface Constraints

The ribbons operate through the standard dot matrix impact mechanism of the compatible Unisys Convergent models, including the CT-2425P, CT-2425S, and CT-2426. Print quality and ribbon life are governed by the printer's own pin configuration and feed speed, which the cartridge cannot alter. Users must ensure the host machine is a 110V unit sold for the U.S. market, as the product is designed for that electrical standard.

Six-Pack Capacity and Headroom

A pack of six ribbons provides extended supply headroom for continuous printing environments, reducing the frequency of reordering and downtime. Excellent ink retention helps each cartridge maintain consistent density across long print runs of invoices or multipart forms. The set does not suit colour printing needs, nor does it fit printers outside the listed Unisys Convergent CT-2425 and CT-2426 series.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 6-pack or a single ribbon for my Unisys 04-8103-873 printer?

The 6-pack lowers the cost per ribbon and reduces how often you need to reorder, which is useful for high-volume invoice or receipt printing on the CT-2425 or CT-2426.

What does the 30-day manufacturer warranty cover once the ribbon is installed in my CT-2425P?

It covers defects in materials or workmanship for 30 days from purchase; using this compatible ribbon does not void the printer's own warranty under U.S. law.

The ribbon is built for 110 V machines — does that limit which Unisys models it works with?

It is designed for U.S.-market 110 V Unisys Convergent CT-2425 and CT-2426 printers listed in the compatibility table.
