Compatible Yellow Toner for Okidata

This SuppliesMax cartridge replaces Okidata part 44973565 and fits the MPS-2731MC printer. It is built for offices and home users who need consistent colour output at high volume. The yellow formulation matches OEM specifications for crisp text and clear colour contrast.

Thermal and power behaviour

The cartridge operates in standard 110 V printers without additional cooling or power requirements. Normal printing generates typical laser-engine heat and noise levels for this class of device. No extra power draw beyond the printer’s rated consumption occurs during use.

What the bundle changes

The package includes only the high-yield toner unit rated for 5000 pages at 5 % coverage. A 30-day manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship. Packaging may vary but does not affect print quality or the warranty terms.

Questions about this item

How do I install the TYPE 17 yellow toner cartridge in my Okidata MPS-2731MC, and what step is often missed?

Open the printer front cover, remove the old yellow cartridge, shake the new SuppliesMax cartridge gently side-to-side five times, remove the protective seal completely, then slide it firmly into the yellow slot until it clicks; the step most people skip is the full seal removal, which causes blank pages.

What maintenance or replacement will the SuppliesMax yellow high-yield toner need after the 5000-page rating?

Once the printer signals low toner or print quality fades, replace the entire cartridge; no separate drum, developer or waste-toner bottle is required for this model, so the only recurring item is a new yellow cartridge.

At what page count or condition does the cartridge hit its limit during continuous high-volume printing?

The rated limit is 5000 pages at 5 % coverage; sustained runs at higher coverage or non-stop printing will reach that limit sooner, triggering the printer's toner-low alert.
