Yellow toner for Lexmark X746 and X748 series

This SuppliesMAX cartridge replaces the Lexmark X746A2YG yellow toner and fits the Lexmark X746DE, X748DE and X748DTE colour laser printers. It is a new compatible unit built to OEM specifications in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities for business and personal printing.

Consistent output with standard coverage rating

The cartridge yields up to 7000 pages at five percent coverage using quality components for crisp text and clear colour contrast. It is designed for 110V machines sold in the U.S. and installs easily without affecting the printer manufacturer warranty.

Replaces Lexmark X746A2YG, X746A1YG and X746A4YG

The upgrade is worth it when you need a lower-cost yellow toner that matches the original page yield and print quality for high-volume jobs. It is not for printers outside the X746 and X748 series or for users who require MICR toner.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SuppliesMAX Yellow Toner Cartridge X746A2YG and what step do people often miss?

Open the printer front cover, remove the old yellow cartridge, shake the new cartridge gently five or six times to distribute toner evenly, then slide it firmly into the yellow slot until it clicks. The step users skip is shaking the cartridge before insertion.

What maintenance or replacement will this cartridge need later?

The cartridge itself is a single-use supply; once the 7000-page yield at 5% coverage is reached you simply replace it with a new SuppliesMAX yellow cartridge. No separate drum or developer unit is included or required for this model.

What limit appears first during sustained high-volume printing with this cartridge?

The page-yield limit of 7000 pages at 5% coverage is the first constraint you will hit; after that the toner is depleted and print quality fades, requiring a fresh cartridge.
