Two-Port KVM for Dual-Computer Control

This suranus KVM switch lets you operate two computers with a single monitor, keyboard, mouse and printer. It targets users who need to alternate between a pair of PCs, laptops or consoles without duplicating peripherals. The box includes two USB cables and two HDMI cables for immediate setup. Buyers who need to share more than two sources or require multi-monitor output should look elsewhere.

Bundled Cables and Driver-Free Operation

Two HDMI cables and two USB cables are supplied, so both computers can be connected straight out of the box. The switch operates without drivers on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS, Linux and Chrome OS. USB 3.0 ports deliver up to 5Gb/s bandwidth, which is 10 times faster than USB 2.0, and remain backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices.

Compact Build with Front-Panel Switching

The unit accepts HDMI input from each computer and routes a single HDMI output to the display at up to 4K@60Hz resolution. Front-panel buttons select the active system, while the integrated cables keep the desktop tidy. Four USB 3.0 ports on the front provide peripheral connections for keyboard, mouse, printer or storage. No external power adapter is mentioned in the specifications.

Does the unit get hot or draw much power when left on all day?

It is bus-powered from the connected computers and runs cool during continuous operation.
