Multi-monitor KVM for dual 4K workstations

The suranus GCS1942 lets a single keyboard, mouse and two DisplayPort monitors control four computers. Each channel accepts two DisplayPort inputs so both screens stay active when switching sources. The unit supports 4096 x 2160 resolution at 60 Hz and passes 7.1-channel HD audio.

Sustained switching with front-panel control

A physical selector on the front panel provides instant source changes without software latency. DisplayPort 1.2 and HDCP compliance maintain a stable handshake during long sessions, preventing signal drops when EDID is renegotiated. The integrated USB 3.1 hub runs at 5 Gbps so peripheral throughput stays consistent across repeated switches.

Expandable rack-ready chassis with TAA compliance

The metal enclosure is TAA compliant for government and enterprise procurement. Two GCS1942 units can be linked to drive four 4K monitors from the same keyboard and mouse. Dedicated keyboard and mouse ports plus the front-panel button keep cable routing tidy at the desk edge.

Questions about this item

Does the GCS1942 produce noticeable fan noise or heat when switching between four DisplayPort computers all day?

The unit has no internal fan and draws minimal power, so it runs silently and stays cool during continuous operation.

Which cables and peripherals must I already own to connect two 4K monitors, a keyboard and a mouse to this switch?

You need four DisplayPort cables for the computer links, two more for the monitors, plus a standard USB keyboard and mouse — all cables are sold separately.

Will the GCS1942 pass 7.1 surround audio from an older DisplayPort 1.1 graphics card to my speakers?

Yes, the 7.1 HD audio channel is independent of the video standard, so legacy DisplayPort 1.1 sources still deliver multichannel sound through the switch.
