Dual-Tip Black Marker Set

This 12 pack supplies black dual-tip pens for drawing, lettering, journaling and sketching. Each marker pairs a .4 mm fine tip with a 1-2 mm brush tip in a single barrel. Water-based ink is odorless, quick-drying, water-resistant and fade-resistant on paper and cardstock.

Who These Suit and Who They Don't

Artists, students and planners who need consistent black line work and brush strokes in one tool will find the set practical. Buyers who require multiple ink colours or nontoxic certification should look at other options. The felt tips can tear paper if pressed hard, so very heavy-handed users may prefer firmer nibs.

Setup Checks Before Ordering

Confirm that your paper or cardstock handles water-based ink without feathering. Ensure you can store the pens horizontally and replace caps promptly to prevent the tips from drying out. No special equipment or surface preparation is needed beyond standard drawing paper.

Questions about this item

What paper weight should I already have so the .4 mm fine tip does not tear the sheet?

Use standard sketchbook or cardstock weight; the supplier advises against pressing hard with the fine tip to avoid tearing thinner sheets.

Can I use these alongside older alcohol-based markers without bleed-through?

The water-based ink is described as no-bleed and quick-drying, so it layers cleanly over or under alcohol inks on suitable paper.

How do I verify both tips on every pen are flowing after opening the 12 pack?

Cap each pen, then test the .4 mm tip and the 1-2 mm brush tip on scrap paper; both should lay down solid black lines without skipping.
