Swift Green SGF-A1 compatible filter

The Swift Green SGF-A1 is a compatible commercial water filter cartridge designed to replace 3M models for RV and marine use. It reduces volatile organic compounds, chlorine taste and odor, sediment, dirt, rust, cysts and bacteria using silver nano technology. The filter is made in the USA from BPA, lead and arsenic-free raw materials certified to NSF/ANSI 42 standards.

Replaces 3M cartridges for RV marine systems

This cartridge serves as a direct replacement for 3M branded filters used in recreational vehicle and marine water systems. The jump is worth it when you want a high-capacity alternative that uses coconut shell carbon with 50% more micro-pores for contaminant capture. It does not remove beneficial minerals and the manufacturer recommends replacement every 4-6 months for best performance.

Coconut carbon limits and replacement cycle

The coconut shell carbon block provides superior pore structure but requires regular change-outs every 4-6 months to maintain flow and reduction claims. Capacity is finite and the filter cannot be cleaned or regenerated once the media is exhausted. It is not suited for applications needing continuous high-volume flow without scheduled downtime for cartridge swaps.
