Compatible refrigerator filter cartridge

The Swift Green SGF-DA20B is a replacement water filter cartridge designed for specific Samsung refrigerator models including DA29-0020B, DA2900019A, and DA2900020A. It fits directly into the existing housing without requiring tools or professional installation. Homeowners seeking a straightforward way to maintain drinking water quality at the point of use will find this cartridge a direct fit for their appliance.

Filter media and contaminant reduction

The cartridge uses coconut shell carbon, a renewable resource, to reduce volatile organic compounds, chlorine taste and odor, lead, cysts, mercury, and asbestos. It meets NSF and ANSI 42,53 standards for material safety and performance. Beneficial minerals and fluoride remain in the water while harmful particles are captured during normal dispensing operation.

Maintenance schedule and environmental impact

The manufacturer recommends replacing the cartridge every three to six months to maintain optimal flow rate and filtration performance. Because the filter housing is designed for easy DIY swaps, no special tools or service calls are needed. Using this refillable cartridge helps reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles, keeping them out of landfills.

Replace the cartridge every three to six months, or sooner if flow drops or taste changes, to maintain certified contaminant reduction.

What limit appears first during continuous use of the SGF-DA20B?
