Swift Green SGF-LA22 Refrigerator Water Filtration 3 Pack

Three-Pack Compatible Replacement

This three-pack of Swift Green SGF-LA22 filters fits refrigerators that use the LT500P, 5231JA2002A, 46-9890 or EFF-6005A cartridges. They are built in the USA from certified raw materials and meet NSF & ANSI 42,53 requirements for contaminant reduction. The coconut shell carbon media provides up to 50% more filtering pores than standard designs. Each cartridge installs without tools and is rated for three to six months of service.

NSF & ANSI 42,53 Standard Limits

The certification covers reduction of volatile organic compounds, chlorine taste and odour, lead, cysts, mercury and asbestos. It does not address dissolved minerals, fluoride, bacteria or viruses, so water chemistry outside those targets will pass through unchanged. Flow rate and pressure drop depend on the refrigerator’s own dispensing system, not on the filter alone. Performance degrades once the carbon pores saturate, which is why the six-month interval exists.

Three-Pack Capacity and Replacement Cycle

Three cartridges supply up to eighteen months of filtration when changed on schedule, giving a convenient reserve for busy households. Capacity ends when the carbon pores fill with adsorbed contaminants, after which taste, odour and lead reduction decline. The filter does not remove beneficial minerals, so water retains its natural mineral content throughout the cartridge life. Overdue replacement lets trapped impurities break through into the dispensed water.
