Swift Green SGF-W80 Water Filtration Filter Cartridge NSF 42 53 0.5 micron 1.5 GPM

Certified Replacement Filter

The Swift Green SGF-W80 is a refrigerator water filter cartridge certified to NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 standards. It uses coconut-shell carbon to reduce chlorine taste and odor, volatile organic compounds, lead, cysts, mercury and asbestos while retaining beneficial minerals and fluoride. The cartridge fits compatible refrigerator models without tools and is manufactured in the USA from BPA-free, lead-free and arsenic-free materials.

Households Needing Certified Contaminant Reduction

This filter suits owners of refrigerators that accept part numbers 4396508, 4396510 or EDR5RXD1 and who want third-party certified reduction of the contaminants listed above. It is not for buyers whose refrigerator requires a different cartridge interface or who need a filter certified for contaminant classes beyond NSF/ANSI 42 and 53.

0.5 Micron Nominal Rating

The 0.5 micron rating determines the smallest particles the media is tested to capture and directly governs the reduction claims for cysts, lead and asbestos. Matching this rating to the water-quality targets of the household confirms whether the cartridge meets the required filtration level.
