Fiber-optic Toslink female feedthrough jack fits standard XLR panel housings and includes 4-40 mounting screws
The Switchcraft EH Series fiber optic Toslink female feedthru jack provides a reliable panel-mount interface for digital audio signals. It is designed for audio engineers, installers and enthusiasts who need a clean, professional connection point in custom racks, patch bays or equipment enclosures. The connector accepts standard Toslink cables on both sides for straightforward signal routing.
Each unit ships with 4-40 mounting screws so the jack can be secured directly into compatible panels without sourcing separate fasteners. The feedthru design lets a standard Toslink cable plug into the rear, eliminating the need for internal soldering or adapter pigtails. This reduces cable clutter behind the panel and speeds up installation or service work.
The jack fits standard panel-mount XLR housings and integrates with Q-G Series panels, so it will not mount in arbitrary sheet-metal cut-outs or proprietary faceplates. Only Toslink optical cables are supported; coaxial S/PDIF or other digital formats require a different connector. Buyers without access to XLR-format panel openings or Q-G Series hardware cannot use this jack as intended.

The 4-40 mounting screws are supplied for initial installation; replacement depends on how often the panel is removed and reinstalled.
The limit is the optical fiber cable itself, as the passive feedthru adds no active circuitry that could saturate.
No, the passive feedthru jack has no electronics, so it generates no heat and makes no noise.
