SXDOOL ad0412mb-g70 40mm 12V case fan 5000RPM

Compact 40 mm 12 V case fan

The SXDOOL ad0412mb-g70 is a 40 mm square fan designed for tight spaces in servers, 1U chassis or small-form-factor PCs. It runs on 12 V and draws 0.08 A for 0.96 W of power. A single ball bearing supports the 5000 RPM spindle. The unit is new and weighs 17 g.

Build integration and clearance

At 40 × 40 × 10 mm the fan fits standard 40 mm mounting holes without blocking nearby components. The 12 V two-wire connection plugs directly into a motherboard or fan controller header. Its low 0.08 A draw leaves ample headroom on the fan header. Counter-clockwise rotation when viewed from the rotor side directs airflow through the frame.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Builders cooling a compact server, router or industrial appliance will appreciate the 5.0 CFM flow at 22 dB(A). The 50 000-hour rated service life supports continuous operation. Buyers needing higher static pressure for dense heatsinks or greater airflow for larger cases should consider larger-frame alternatives.
