Solder Fume Extractor for DIY Workstations

The SXDOOL SXD12038B1LM is a mains-powered fume extractor built for soldering stations and bench work. It targets hobbyists and technicians who need to capture flux smoke during electronics repair, stained-glass assembly or mobile-phone maintenance. The unit ships with five activated-carbon filter pads ready for immediate use.

2600 RPM Suction and Filter Capacity

A 2600 RPM fan draws fumes from 5-6 inches away while running at low noise. Five carbon filters are included; each uses refined activated carbon in a foam matrix for high absorption flux. The manufacturer rates the motor for over 50000 hours of continuous operation before replacement is expected.

AC 110-120 V 50/60 Hz Power Interface

The extractor connects directly to a 110-120 V AC supply at 50 or 60 Hz without an external adapter. It lacks variable-speed control, so airflow is fixed at the rated 2600 RPM. The 120 mm square by 38 mm deep housing limits placement to benches with sufficient flat clearance for the intake face.

Questions about this item

Will the SXD12038B1LM run on my existing 110 V bench supply?

The unit is rated for AC110~AC120V at 50/60 Hz, so it plugs directly into standard North American mains without a separate transformer.

How can I confirm the 2600 RPM fan is moving air correctly after installation?

Hold a lightweight tissue 5-6 inches from the intake; it should be pulled steadily toward the grille, indicating the rated suction is active.

Does the SXD12038B1LM ship with everything needed to start filtering solder fumes, or must I buy filters separately?

Five activated-carbon foam filters are included in the box, so no extra purchase is required before first use.
