Replacement fan for legacy graphics cards

This gray VGA cooling fan serves as a direct replacement for several older graphics cards from brands including ASL, Unimax, GALAXY and ZOTAC. It supports models such as the 9600, 9800GT, 240, 440, 550 and 6850. The unit is offered in two connector variants: a 2-wire R128015DM version and a 4-wire PLA08015D12HH version. Buyers should verify their card's exact connector type before ordering.

Dual connector options for specific legacy models

The fan covers a narrow range of legacy GPUs and will not fit cards outside the listed model numbers. It provides no solution for builders needing cooling for modern GPUs, larger form-factor coolers or liquid-cooling setups. The 2-wire and 4-wire versions are not interchangeable, so selecting the wrong variant will leave the card without functional cooling.

Questions about this item

Will this replacement fan fit the ZOTAC 9800GT card I am keeping in my older build?

The fan is listed for ZOTAC 9600, 9800GT and several other models, so it matches the mounting pattern and connector of that card.

How can I confirm the PLA08015D12HH 4-wire version is spinning at the correct speed once installed?

Use GPU monitoring software to check that the fan RPM responds to temperature changes and that the 4-wire PWM signal is detected by the graphics card BIOS.
