Filter frame 15 cm square

The SXDOOL ZL-803 is a grey air filter frame measuring 15 cm by 15 cm. It mounts directly over a 120 mm cooling fan to catch dust before it enters a cabinet or enclosure. The frame ships without a fan and installs using the existing fan screw holes.

Suits 120 90 80 mm fans not other sizes

This filter fits 120 mm, 90 mm and 80 mm fans thanks to its multi-pattern screw holes. Builders using larger or smaller fan diameters will find the mounting points do not align. It is also unsuitable for installations that require a supplied fan or a different frame colour.

15 cm frame edge with multi-hole pattern

The critical specification is the 15 cm square frame edge combined with screw holes spaced for 120 mm, 90 mm and 80 mm fans. Verify that your fan matches one of those three diameters and that the 15 cm outer dimension clears the mounting surface.

Questions about this item

Does the ZL-803 filter panel include a 120mm fan or must I buy one separately?

The ZL-803 is a filter panel only; no fan is included. You need to supply a 120mm, 90mm or 80mm fan that matches the screw-hole pattern.

Which fan sizes match the screw holes on the 15cm frame?

The screw holes are drilled for 120mm, 90mm and 80mm fans, so any of those three diameters will mount directly.

How much airflow restriction should I expect from the filter mesh?

The mesh adds some resistance; a 120mm fan will move less air than without the filter, but the exact drop depends on the fan's static-pressure curve.
