The Syba SI-PEX15055 adds two DB9 RS-232 ports to a desktop through any PCIe x1 or larger slot. It targets technicians and integrators who need legacy serial connectivity for industrial equipment, point-of-sale hardware or embedded systems. Both standard and low-profile brackets are supplied for flexible case compatibility.

115200 bps per port with 256-byte FIFOs

Each port handles standard serial formats from 5 to 9 bits with even, odd, none, space or mark parity. The ASIX AX99100 chipset provides on-chip 256-byte FIFOs in both transmit and receive paths plus DMA burst transfer for reliable throughput. Remote wake-up and power management are supported, but the card tops out at 115200 bps per port.

Driver CD, manual and low-profile bracket included

The bundled driver disc covers Windows 7 through 10, Linux kernel 2.6.15 and later, and Android 1.x to 5.x. A printed user manual guides installation and configuration. The low-profile bracket lets the card fit slim chassis without extra parts. No cables or external power adapters are provided.
