Standalone Flash-to-Disc Backup Centre
The Systor BD-MBC-5 is a standalone duplicator that backs up flash memory drives and optical discs without a connected computer. It accepts USB, SD, microSD and CompactFlash media and writes to CD, DVD or Blu-ray blanks. The unit targets one source to five destination drives simultaneously for efficient batch duplication.
Media Compatibility and Write Speeds
Supported flash formats include USB 1.1 through USB 3.2, SDHC, SDXC, SDUC, CF I and II, and Memory Stick variants. Optical write speeds reach 48X for CD-R, 24X for DVD±R, 12X for dual-layer DVD, and 14X for BD-R and BD-RE media. A 128MB buffer helps maintain steady data flow during long copy sessions.
Multi-Session and Disc Spanning Modes
Multi-session technology merges data from several smaller flash cards onto a single optical disc. Disc spanning splits a large flash drive across multiple CDs, DVDs or Blu-rays automatically. Both modes operate from the front panel with no software installation required. Copy-protected commercial discs cannot be duplicated.

Questions about this item
What does the 14X BD-R speed mean when I am burning discs?
The duplicator writes BD-R media at 14X, which is the maximum rate the drives support for single-layer Blu-ray recordable discs.
How does the SATA connection limit the duplication process?
Each target drive connects via SATA, so the internal bus sets the practical throughput ceiling for simultaneous burning across up to five drives.
What physical slots and bays does the unit provide for media and discs?
It includes built-in slots for USB, SD, microSD, and CF cards plus one source and five target optical drive bays for CD, DVD, or Blu-ray media.
