Gold-Mount Battery Backpack Vest

This vest-style backpack plate is built for camera operators who run ARRI or RED cinema cameras on Gold-Mount batteries during mobile live streaming and outdoor broadcasts. It removes the need to hand-carry heavy power packs or rely on an assistant, letting a single operator manage power and video transmission alone.

Universal Gold-Mount Battery Compatibility

The integrated clamp accepts any Gold-Mount battery, so operators can swap packs from their existing inventory without proprietary adapters. This single interface determines whether the vest works with your current power ecosystem.

Expandable Mounting And Power Distribution

Two expansion boards provide multiple 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads for attaching clamps, magic arms or lights, while a three-port D-tap splitter and right-angle Gold-Mount bracket feed stabilisers, wireless transmitters and other accessories from one battery. The decompression harness and mixed metal-ABS construction keep the load comfortable during long shoots.

Questions about this item

How long can a Gold-Mount battery run my camera and accessories from this backpack?

The backpack holds any Gold-Mount battery and adds a 3-port D-tap splitter, so total run-time depends on the battery capacity you choose and the combined draw of your camera, transmitter and lights.

What power standard does the D-tap splitter use and what devices can it feed?

The splitter provides three standard D-tap outputs, letting you power monitors, wireless transmitters or lights that accept D-tap input.

How do I mount a monitor arm or light to the backpack?

Two expandable boards carry multiple 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads for attaching magic arms, clamps or lights directly to the vest.
