4 AWG Oxygen-Free Copper Power Wire

This 25 ft spool of red 4 AWG oxygen-free copper wire is built for car audio amplifier installations. The marine-grade construction and super-flex translucent jacket make routing through tight vehicle spaces easier. It suits installers who need a reliable power feed without paying a premium.

Flexible jacket simplifies routing in tight cavities

The translucent jacket stays pliable in cold temperatures so the cable bends around firewall grommets and under trim panels without kinking. Oxygen-free copper reduces resistance over the full length, letting the amplifier draw the current it needs. The spool format lets you cut exact lengths, avoiding coiled slack that wastes space.

Ideal for single-amplifier systems needing a clean

Builders running one mid-sized amplifier will find the gauge and length well matched. Installations that require multiple amplifiers or longer runs should consider a larger gauge or additional wire. The red jacket also helps identify the positive lead quickly during future service.

Questions about this item

What limits the current this 4 AWG oxygen-free copper wire can carry during long amplifier runs?

The 25 ft length and 4 AWG gauge set the resistance that determines voltage drop under sustained load.

How does the super flex translucent jacket behave when the wire runs hot all day in an engine bay?

The marine-grade jacket stays flexible and resists heat, oil and UV so it will not stiffen or crack during extended use.

What other items are needed to complete a 4 AWG amplifier power installation with this spool?

You will need a matching 4 AWG fuse holder, ring terminals and a ground wire of the same gauge to finish the circuit.
