The bulk quantity keeps a reliable supply on hand for writing, marking, sketching and exam work. Non-toxic materials make them suitable for children and adults alike. A practical choice for everyday writing tasks across multiple settings.

Hexagonal Barrel & Pre-Sharpened Tips

Each pencil features a hexagonal barrel that resists rolling on desks and encourages a stable, comfortable grip for proper writing posture. Premium wood sharpens easily and cleanly when the point dulls. Top-mounted erasers handle corrections without a separate tool. The pre-sharpened condition means no preparation time before the first stroke.

Graphite Core Limits

The #2 HB graphite grade produces a medium-dark line suited to general writing and standardised test sheets, but it will not deliver the deep blacks or broad tonal range that softer leads provide. Wax-based binder gives a smooth feel on paper yet limits layering and blending compared with dedicated art pencils. Users needing richer shading or specialised drawing grades should look beyond this core formulation.

Questions about this item

What pencil grade is used in the 50-pack and how dark is the mark?

The pencils are graded #2 HB, giving a medium-dark mark that works for standardised tests and everyday writing.

What are the barrel dimensions and shape so I know if they fit my sharpener and desk tray?

Each barrel is 7.4 x 0.3 x 0.3 inches with a hexagonal profile that prevents rolling and fits common sharpeners.

How do I get the pencils ready to write and what mistake should I avoid?

They arrive pre-sharpened so you can write immediately; do not re-sharpen before first use or you will waste lead.
