Mamba Moments and Neighborhood

Mamba Moments lets players recreate selected peak performances from Kobe Bryant’s career, offering structured single-player scenarios focused on his most famous games. The coastal Neighborhood hub provides an open environment for matchmaking, practice and social interaction, replacing previous city layouts with a scenic seaside setting. MyTEAM returns with expanded card-collecting mechanics, allowing squads built from current All-Stars and historical legends for both solo and online competition.

Best fit for Switch basketball fans

This edition suits Nintendo Switch owners who want the full NBA 2K24 feature set plus the Kobe Bryant tribute content and a large Virtual Currency head start. Players who prefer other platforms, who do not value the MyTEAM card mode, or who want a version without the pre-order digital extras should look at the standard release on their system of choice.

Questions about this item

Will the physical cartridge need any updates or downloads after I put it in the Switch?

The cartridge contains the base game; any patches or live-service content such as MyTEAM seasons will download automatically when the console is online.

What stops me from playing MyCAREER or MyTEAM indefinitely in one session?

Progress in those modes is tied to online servers, so a loss of internet connection or scheduled maintenance will pause play until service resumes.

How much noise or heat does the Switch produce while running this title for hours?

The game runs on the standard Switch hardware, so fan noise and warmth match typical levels seen with other demanding Switch titles during extended play.
